Frequent Bladder Infections?

Postby JJ » Mon May 16, 2005 12:33 pm

Hi!! I have ANOTHER bladder infection! Wondering if anyone else has problems with bladder and yeast infections? It's driving me batty! I hate taking antibiotics all the time. Is there something I can do to prevent these? And is this common in peri-menopausal women?

I really appreciate all the information. This is a wonderful site.

JJ

I had alot of bladder infections when I was first married (the first time) and I know there are a ot of reasons for them but I know the one reason I will ALWAYS get a yeast infection is to take antibiotics. I got a doozy when I had my diverticulitis attack and had to have IV antibiotics (whopper dose) but I was prepared and the doc had a laugh (yeah right, it wasn't him was it?).

Good Luck! Hugs Pam

Thanks Pam, for your reply. I really appreciate it. Yeah, I think I'll be eating alot of yogurt, in the hopes that it will prevent a yeast infection. Have a great night!
