Well I'm glad to hear that depression is a part of menopause, I have never felt like this before moody, sad, empty, lazy, no ambition at all lonley, and at the same time my last child my baby has moved out so that doesn't help a bit, what can I do to be happy? should I take hormone pills? will that help my mood? Not to worried about the other symtoms even though I have all of them even the "burning tongue" I can deal with all of them except the depression I don't like that at all, and to top it off I'm not working, I work at a school and we are out for the summer HELP!!!

You might want to consider a low dosage anti-depressant. Many of us have gone through periods where things are just out of balance (chemicals and hormones) and these can also help with some of the other symptoms of menopause (like sleeping, hot flashes and anxiety)
