Post Hyster Menopause

I hope this is the right place to post this........

I had a Total Hysterectomy two years ago, (Kept Ovaries).

Now my doc suspects I am entering Menopause, although tests are coming up negative.

Could someone perhaps tell me, 'will my menopause be the same as anyone elses Menopause, or is it different following the Hyster'?

It may be an obvious question - but it has been puzzling me.....

Thanks for any help -

MM
I used to have an open mind but my brains kept falling out.

Maid Marion,
If you had a hyster and begin to go through menopause, it is very likely that you will go through a menopause similar to that of a woman without a hysterectomy.

If you are looking for info about hysterectomy and hormones please visit http://www.hysterhome.com We have a forum called the medicine cabinet that has a lot of info on hormones
