Beard and Moustache Removal

Postby danmia » Thu Oct 05, 2006 7:27 am

Hey I found it, and I have to share. No more plucking, no more shaving, no more staring at those freak long hairs that appear from nowhere on your neck and face etc. I bought in desperation the Bruan Epilator, and oh my goodness what a difference. The upside is it removes all of those really annoying little friends we have to put up with and it stays gone for at least TWO weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Downside, it hurts like hell to do it, but oh my so worth it, no pain no gain is definitely the motto here. Do try it it's wonderful and one more symptom bites the dust!!!!!!!!!

I just checked the Bruan website and there are 3 'epilators.' None of the descriptions mention that they can be used on the face. Which one do you have?

It is the Braun Silk Epilator Eversoft Solo and I doubt it recommends use on the face but it definitely works. It is painful on the underarms and legs definitely an ow factor there but as I said it does work and works well. On the face I have had no problems, a touch of moisturizer afterwards and its absolutely fine and I have really sensitive skin too.

Do you have to let them grow a little longer first though  :?:

I would feel too embarrassed to go to work at ANYTIME with those darned whiskers sticking out my chin and and upper lip :!: :!:

Thanks for this thread though danmia. It's refreshing to discuss things like this and not be laughed at by anyone else.

I hope you like it as much as I do, as I said it can be painful but at this point I really dont care anymore. Anything to get rid of it. Now if I can only find a butt plug for my gas

Well small world I actually didn't like it in the midlands that much, I'm not a fan of big cities. Although I was born in London hehe and I love it there, mind you who could afford to live there now!!!! We moved here 7 1/2 years ago and I absolutely love it here.
