I haven't found grey, probably because I don't want to look that hard to find any. It is a little more sparce down there though. And I did find one grey eyelash and darn if the mascara won't cover it. As though it won't absorb color.

And I have only had maybe 10 grey head hairs in the past 5-7 years.

I did get a new haircut yesterday. I love my hairdresser lady. She is so good at it. I have worn it about collar to shoulder length for a while as I got older. This one is a bit shorter than usual for me. Feels odd, but I think I like it. My girls tell me it lifts my face and I actually look younger. Though everyone tells me I look a lot younger than 51 anyway. Guess it is my parents pure ethnic genetics of aging. They looked great as they aged.
My hair is pretty straight with a few odd waves, but my hairdresser textured it to create a flow of sorts without a lot of fuss.
It is said you shouldn't ask your immediate family opinions on your looks. However my daughters and I are very open to tell each other how we look so as to make adjustments. I am very grateful for their input.

Okay, I have babbled off the subject.

ROFLOL! I have had the white eyebrows...hadn't thought to check "down there."

Y'all are so funny--I was afraid I'd have to go find the "Wetting Pants While Laughing" thread. :D

Yep....can TOTALLY relate to this! Have found more of this happening elsewhere though after my fourth year with dwindling estrogen levels after meno. :x

Would like to ask though, has anyone else had the problem of one totally dark eyebrow and one totally white with the odd stray grey?

(Have to say my hair has almost turned white too!)

Personally, I feel the Pamela Anderson painted eyebrows don't look so good on a 54 year old wrinkly and bumpy skin (not on me anyways!). I have worn make up all my life (think of Twiggy make up in the sixties....yep I did it!!) and wouldn't dream of not wearing it in my Autumnal years!!

At the minute I am plucking the white one a bit heavier than the dark one and applying a brown eyebrow pencil which looks ok in certain lights (and from a distance) but burst forth in all its glory in strong sunlight/flourescent lighting.

I'm darned if I am going to grow old gracefully, but I cannot afford to have them dyed regularly in the salon either.....any suggestions :?: :?:
KEEP ON KEEPING ON!!!!!:)

Hi Daydreamer,
Hey, I hear where you are coming from....not really the eyebrows, but the rest. I have these mad scientist grays that just appear. I have excess hair growth and am getting laser to help it. I have a partial beard and all that. It is not cool when they say you need 8 laser treatments to REDUCE the amt. of hair......but it makes what remains a lot finer too. My advice to both of us it to stay out of the sunlight at all costs.........not due to skin damage, but because of 'defect revelation' !!!!!!!!! WHY NOT START A NEW TREND NOW THAT ALL THE TWIGGY GeNERATION ARE OUR AGE AND AROUND.....LET'S SHAVE OUR EYEBROWS.....AKIN TO BURNING OUR BRAS !!!!!!! POWER TO THE WOMEN........YAAAAAAAAYYYYYY......THE CROWD GOES WILD......  O.K.....BACK TO REALITY !! Stay cool and don't worry. LOL.......CIN-D-RELLA

Well it must be mine, don't know who's else it would be!

Actually this is a real shock  . I mean, I can colour my head hair a nice rich chestnut and slap cosmetics on my face and still pass for late 30s but, realistically, grey hairs in my la-la are a dead giveaway! I am actually now feeling quite old ..

girls, help me out on this, does anyone colour their public hair or do you think I should get a Brazilian and mow the whole lawn down there?

I'm in a very dangerous land here, as a man, but I just had to advise from a romantic man's point of view. Color the grey--ANYWHERE! It is okay. We will not know the difference if your head hair is colored as well. Men do not care of this deception and it fools us in the right way and it is good.

And know this, regardless of modern cultural influence for the poor maidens of the culture:

DON'T MOW HEAVEN!!!!!

We men love to wade through the bushes to get to the picnic. It is part of our wiring the Lord gave us concerning our need to search and hunt for the treasure we behold.

All my best to you, dear.

My husband likes 'Heaven' mowed. Nonetheless I leave a landing strip and it is also home to a growing population of grey hairs! And I think they are migrating... I found one growing on my chin. All by itself. Never had hair on my chin before! :?

I saw your post and thought, "Ugggghhhh....another thing I haven't thought about."

First of all, I'm not too worried about this. I would have to deliberately put on my reading glasses to even be able to see a grey hair down under...and there's no way I'm going there.

Secondly, if it becomes so obvious I can see this "naturally", I'm going the route of Samantha from Sex in the City. Remember when she found a grey hair? She dyed her hair bright orange. Now that's sassie!

Here is my answer...wax it off! Within three years of my hysterectomy (21years ago), I lost all (and I do mean all) the hair in front. All I had left was hair on my labia and where it would show wearing a bathing suit. And it was mostly gray. Let it be known, I do NOT do gray hair on this body anywhere. I even get my eyebrows and eyelashes dyed because there is gray in them. Ok, vanity...I know.

So I decided to get it all waxed off...every single hair, front to back. I have to admit even though I had been getting bikini waxes for years from the same gal, being so exposed the first time, was a little, ummm... interesting to say the least. Especially when she had me get on my knees to do my butt! And I can say, I think I've been in poses even porn stars don't know about!!!! Now it's not a big deal!

But the bottom line is, I love it! I feel so clean and love the smooth, bare feeling. The best part is there is no stubble or itch. It grows in finer, thinner, softer and less of it.

As a matter of fact, I wax my own underarms and legs. I only have about 5 hairs under each arm... they are smooth all the time.

However, here is one caveat: NEVER, EVER TRY TO DO A PUBIC WAXING BY YOURSELF....ALWAYS, ALWAYS LET A PROFESSIONAL DO IT!

Let me repeat...
NEVER, EVER TRY TO DO A PUBIC WAXING BY YOURSELF....ALWAYS, ALWAYS LET A PROFESSIONAL DO IT!

LOL...so go for it...
