Vitamin E

Postby luvkitties » Thu Oct 14, 2004 1:14 am

I can't remember which site I got this from but thought it was worth sharing.

"Vitamin E — ranging from 400 to 800 international units (IU) daily — provides some relief from mild hot flashes for some women. However, the scientific evidence isn't strong."

It hasn't helped me (I've been taking it for yrs., since before my hot flashes started  , but it may help someone else??) I'm new here and am reading what I can when I can. Always searching for info...

Thanks luvkitties.....yes, vit E has been used by many women over the past several years. I think when it helped the most was when it was used with other solutions......depending on what symptoms were the most troublesome.
