I'm so nervous to announce that my book is finally done and available here: http://www.lulu.com/content/965290 I'll be announcing it in my July newsletter, but wanted to let you ladies know first (I'm sure they'll be sold out LOL).

My next one will be bigger but for my first effort I'm pleased. It's got some of my cartoons plus the funny stories that women have sent in over the years.

I still laugh out loud at these even after 5 or 6 years. I hope you'll help support my efforts by buying one or two...give them to friends or whatever!! Thanks!!

Well Dee Dahling I laughed all the way through mine as much as possible. It is just like death and taxes, there is not a damn thing you can do about it, just go with the flow, or lack there off.

I get a laugh almost everyday, in fact just now at the two new threads one for Hot Sexy Girls, or a Porn web cam or some such nonsense, it just cracks me up that those dumb arses come here to a menopausal women's web-site to peddle their porn.
But it also shows how popular you and the Forum are, if they want to spam you Deary.

Great success with the book !!! I shall look for it at Border's next time I am there.

Oh thanks for telling us. I hope it does well, women need to know they aren't losing their minds, well maybe we are, but there is atleast a good reason for it !!!!

I just got this in the mail yesterday and my 47th birthday is today.

As a nurse, most of my co-workers are female. Additionally, the majority of us are "at that age" , so many of us are going thru the pause together.

It's kind of nice, because we understand each other.

We started out by saying we were all in the same boat, which quickly became "the boat is going to sink if any more of us get on it".

Once in awhile something will come up, like a 30-something year old co-worker saying something like "I don't run my air conditioning in the winter." (We live in Florida). And the rest of us will say "Yep. She's not on the boat yet."

I got three more copies of Laugh Your Way Through menopause and gave them to our housekeeper, our restorative assistant and one of the nursing assistants. They LOVE Minnie!!!!

Looks like I never got back here to thank you, Sylvia!! I'm so grateful that you bought multiple copies of the book. My next one is going to be recipes sent in by my readers. Not necessarily menopause-type food (god, what is THAT? Healthy? LOL) but some great recipes! Hopefully will have this ready by mid-2010. That sure sounds strange, doesn't it?
