The Minnie Pauz Cookbook!

Postby minniepauz » Sun Sep 02, 2007 2:46 pm

If you didn't see the last newsletter ( http://www.minniepauz.com/sept2007.html ) I wanted to tell you about the MP cookbook. If you'd like to have a recipe included in the book, please post it here. (or email it to the link in the newsletter). I thought it would be fun to get recipes from my readers because we're from all over the place and yet have so much in common. We all need comfort during menopause so I know there will be lots of comfort food!! My recipe will be my Mom's bread pudding!

My fav treat is my Mom's Banana Bread!

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Mix together:
1 cup mashed fully ripe bananas ( usually 2 or 3)
2 tablespoons milk
1/2 cup margarine or butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 cups flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teasppon baking soda

Pour into greased loaf pan and baked for aprox 1 hour and ENJOY :D

It's taking longer than I planned to just get started on it, Cathy, but I did get a lot of recipes in the mail. Now I just have to illustrate all of them and put them in pdf format to publish it. I'm hoping I'll have them ready by November/December of this year.
