Have you noticed the ads that are showing after every (FIRST) post on this board?

Do you actually read them?

Does it bother you to see the ads?

Do you feel they are helpful?

Do you ever follow them to see what they're about?

Do you find they are mostly relevant to this board?

Can you share with us if you've found something useful in them?

Do you get lost or do you come back to Minnie Pauz?

I see them but I don't look at them at all. They don't bother me. I just click onto to the forum I want to read without a second thought about the ads.

Being honest, no, I don't really even register them. I click on what I want to read and really don't even look at the ads. However, you do have one dedicated watcher ... namely Mr. Gorgeous. He reads everything on the page and encourages me to click everything (I don't think he has registered that these are adverts). When left alone on the PC he will click every link possible, hence when I return we have dozens of web pages open - most of which are offering him loans, vitamins and Viagra !!!!! And he is reading every single one and still clicking on further links to other ads .... !!!!

Thanks for the responses Ladies.....I was wondering if anyone had looked at any of them, like the Estrogen Spray I keep seeing. Just want to remind everyone that there's no purchase required for this to help support the site and the forum. :) Most of time they're related to menopause but if you ever see any that aren't, let me know and I'll report it.

Sorry I saw this survey so late - may I still respond?
Yes, I do read some of the ads. I find them helpful and they often link to other sites of interest. I have read sites about natural soy-estrogen replacements as that is my interest. And no, I don't get lost. I find my way back to Minnie Pauz by hitting the back button. I do hope Minniepauz will continue! I have recommended this site to so many pre-post and meno friends. I hope this was helpful and thank you for asking us, the members.

Thanks Dianne, I appreciate your response. I hope others will follow your lead and make good use of the interesting products offered on each page right under the first post. Since regular members and posters come here nearly every day it would be quite helpful if each and every one would check out at least one of the products and then come back to the forum. This kind of activity will go a LONG way towards supporting this site and allowing me to keep it going. Thanks again!

Hello. I am responding late to your question. Haven't been on in awhile. Actually I did notice the ads, in a subliminal way. I usually don't pay them much attention, and I don't click on the links unless the ad relates to a current problem or question I have. I do understand that they help keep a site running, though, so I don't mind them. And, I must say, they are not obtrusive, and don't break up the flow of the page very much. Thanks for taking the time to explain about them. Also, I'm going over to the Quit Smoking board, and post there, because in 2 more days, I will have quit for 2 whole months (after many tries!). So celebrate with me!

Thanks!
Shelley

Thanks for the feedback, Shelley.....I just want everyone to understand that there is NO support to the site unless you follow the links. :) Just looking at them on the page does nothing and at this rate the site will not last forever. :(

I do check out some of them. Some have been useful and some not so much.

I had not been looking at them, but I will definitely start doing so. It would be a great loss if this site was no longer here, I shudder to think what would happen if you took all these pre and peri menopausal women and turned them loose on the world with no other outlet. Ouch!!!! Thanks for all you do, you and Minniepauz have been a life saver (my husband's).

Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets, so love the people who treat you right, forget about the ones who don't, and believe that everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.
