For those of you who are just beginning this wonderful process, here we can narrow down the symptoms and ask questions like "am I starting perimenopause?"

Pinprick rash and itchiness

Postby saracat » Mon Aug 15, 2011 6:07 pm

I've been getting intermittent rashes on my hands, feet, arms and tummy. They get very hot, itchy and I see red spots. It can go away in a few minutes or a few hours. Sometimes Benydral helps. Cold water helps some too. First I thought it was the Welbutrin. Got rid of that. Then I thought, maybe I'm getting too much thyroid medicine, so I cut back a tiny amount. That seemed to help. Haven't had a rash in a few weeks. But it came back!

Could this be a weird menopause thing? I hate to go to the doctor about it because, it probably won't happen there and there seems to be multiple causes of rashes.

This is driving me nuts!
